Avett Brothers Cancel
** Imagine our surprise when just this past weekend we found out a new Avett baby was on the way, due on the 13th but
taking it's sweet time getting here.   For this reason, the Avett Brothers have cancelled their appearance at MagnoliaFest this year.  Here is a message from the band.  All of us here at Magnolia Music wish the new family very well.  Please note that if you have a band or know a band, please refrain from contacting us for them to play the Avett Sets.  We appreciate it, but there are so many of you that we don't have time to give everyone consideration, so Beth and Randy will come up with something very shortly. 

To our most loyal and dedicated fans,
Due to the pending birth of my first child, we have regretfully chosen to cancel our upcoming shows in Tampa, FL at the Cuban Club on the 23rd and Live Oak, FL at Magnoliafest on the 24th. We have never had to cancel a show for personal reasons, but I just have to be around for my wife and child on the most important day of our lives. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused any of you and we are working hard to reschedule the date in Tampa and find an appropriate time to return to Magnoliafest. I also apologize for the late notice, but we waited until the last possible minute to make this decision. I’d like to extend a very sincere thanks to all of you for your well-wishes and kind words during this very important time in my family’s life. We are happy and healthy at home, just awaiting our daughter’s arrival. We will see you all very soon.
